I have been sent photos of wall and floor tiling schemes deemed non-salvageable by the client or shown such schemes. These so-called lost causes have to date been all saved. My track record is 100%, as my satisfied clients will attest.

We have to deal with health & safety measures as well as the aesthetics of the wall or floor, so we try to use as much original material as possible by repairing tiles, conserving individual tiles, or using reclaimed tiles from same era. This compromise works out very well (see our references).

All floors are also throughly cleaned and then sealed. This provides a renewable wear layer and helps preserve the tiles, plus it brings out the colours and they look almost as good as they did a 100 years ago.
